All Souls' Day

All Souls’ Day holds the true meaning of caring for and remembering the ones we have lost. Observed on November 2 in the Western Christian tradition since the 11th century, All Souls’ Day is dedicated to prayer for souls which are believed to be marked by lesser sins, in order to purify them for heaven. All Souls' Day falls on the last day of Allhallowtide, after All Saints' Day and its eve.
