Feast of St. Francis of Assisi

October 4 is the Feast of St Francis. It commemorates the most beloved saints who focused on poverty. St. Francis has the merit of having saved the Catholicism of his era from corruption and richness. He re-established the link between the Church and the poorer classes. He is also a major character of one of the most beautiful chants of Dante’s Paradise.
