Malaysia: Raja Perlis's Birthday

The official celebration of the Raja Perlis’ birthday was originally on his actual birthday, on May 17. However, it is currently observed on July 17. The current Raja Perlis is Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail. Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin was installed as the twelfth ruler of Perlis on April 17, 2000, the day after the demise of his father, Tuanku Syed Putra.
