Happy Birthday Tun Abdul Razak

Tun Abdul Razak, the second Prime Minister of Malaysia was born on March 11, 1922. He succeeded Tunku Abdul Rahman as Prime Minister in September 1970. Tun Abdul Razak was renowned for launching the Malaysian New Economic Policy in 1971, which had a two-pronged strategy to eradicate poverty and to restructure the society. Tun Razak passed away on January 14, 1976 and was posthumously granted the soubriquet Father of Development (Bapa Pembangunan). Happy Birthday Tun Razak!
