Renri

Ancient Chinese believed that their birthdays do not occur only on the anniversary of their birth but also on the day humankind was created. Known as Renri or “Human Day’, it falls on the 7th day of the 1st month in the Chinese lunar calendar. According to legend, Goddess Nuwa created human beings after she spent six days creating animals.
