Renri

According to belief, human beings were created by Goddess Nuwa on the 7th day of the 1st month in the Chinese lunar calendar. This occasion is celebrated by Chinese communities all over the world. The custom of celebrating Renri dates back to the Han Dynasty. Traditionally, Chinese would wear ‘rensheng’, man-shaped hair pins made of gold foils on this day.
