World Wood Day

The 2018 World Wood Day theme was ‘Life’, which demonstrated the roles and importance of wood and non-timber forest products. Malaysia’s tropical forests cover 6 million hectares and exports 6,000 to 7,000 cu.m. of certified timber products monthly. Malaysia has to ensure that the timber are from legal and sustainable sources to protect the environment.
