Renri, which falls on the 7th day of the 1st month in the Chinese lunar calendar is considered the birthday of everyone because according to folklore, humankind was created on this day. It is the day when everyone grows one year older. Some people serve yee sang and do the prosperity toss on Renri. Yee sang is tossed and eaten for continued prosperity.
