Here is a very fun fact that few people know of. Did you know that the shape of the heart is actually from a plant. A plant call silphium which is now extinct. Found once in Africa, the plant was used as food coloring, a cough syrup, and as a contraceptive. It was the heart-shaped seeds of the plant that was the reason it was associated with love till this day.
