Federal Territory Day
The Federal Territory Day, also known as Hari Wilayah Persekutuan in Malaysia marks the anniversary of the formation of the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory in 1974. The Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Agreement was signed on January 28, 1974 and on February 1, 1974, Kuala Lumpur became a federal territory under the control of the federal government. The second Federal Territory was created in 1984 when Labuan in Sabah came under the control of the federal government. Putrajaya, which was specially planned and developed to be the federal administrative centre of Malaysia became Malaysia’s third Federal Territory in 2001. Send Federal Territory FaveKads to your family members and friends who live or work in the Federal Territory to wish them a happy holiday.
