International Day of the Bible
International Day of the Bible is observed in November every year. It is a tradition that at noon local time, people of all ages are invited to participate by taking a pause for a few minutes to read or sing Scripture or creatively express their love of the Bible. Pastors around the world preach on the greatness and blessing of God’s Word at churches on that day. In this modern time, people around the world participate in the social media event to express their gratitude to the Bible. International Day of the Bible unites Christians around the world as they pause at noon on that day to read the Bible. Setting aside a day to honour God’s Word gives Christians a chance to show solidarity despite their different backgrounds, denominations and political beliefs. It is a time when Christians set their differences aside and unite to participate in reading God’s Word together with other church members.
