Chap Goh Meh

Chap Goh Meh is the 15th and final day of the Chinese New Year. Chap Goh Meh is the local Malaysian name for this event and the phrase derived from the Hokkien dialect which refers to the fifteenth night of the first lunar month. It is the first full-moon night of the new year and is considered a joyful occasion with abundant food and family gatherings.
