George Town, the creme de la creme of heritage cities in Asia

Reputed for its efficiency in implementing heritage projects, George Town, Penang is the only city in Asia to be selected by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) to participate in two heritage pilot projects. Rich in culture and tradition, George Town is the most appropriate location for UNESCO’s project on intangible cultural heritage. Just walk around the George Town heritage enclave and you will see interesting cultural practices of the communities from diverse background. UNESCO’s second project for George Town is to develop the local industries that would benefit the communities in the heritage zone. Well, just look at the living culture in the heritage zone and you will see that these communities possess the skills that have been handed down from generation to generation. Congratulations to George Town, Penang! At FaveKad, we are confident that you can deliver to the expectations of UNESCO
