Having accomplished so much in his life, the oldest current Prime Minister as recorded in the Guinness World Records, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has yet another extraordinary feat. Within a week, Tun Mahathir was conferred three different awards in three different countries. On November 6, Tun Mahathir was conferred the ‘Grand Cordon of the Order of the Paulownia Flowers’ by Emperor Akihito of Japan. This award is for Tun Mahathir’s contributions in strengthening bilateral ties between Japan and Malaysia. On November 8, the Nation Building Institute, a non-profit organisation based in Thailand that helps in enhancing leadership, management and morality of leaders, conferred Tun Mahathir the Nation-Building Lifetime Achievement Award (Public Sector). On November 13, Tun Mahathir was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Law by his alma mater, the National University of Singapore. FaveKad salutes you, Tun Mahathir. We are so proud of you!
