Random Acts of Kindness Day

The Random Acts of Kindness Day is an annual observance. Observed on February 17 in the United States, the day has gain popularity over the years. Random Acts of Kindness Day is a day to celebrate and encourage random acts of kindness. The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation (RAK) was founded in 1995 as a non-profit organisation, headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Their mission is to change schools, workplace, families and society through kindness. Instead of only celebrating a day of random acts of kindness, the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation has a week-long celebration of kindness. The Random Acts of Kindness Day in New Zealand is celebrated on September 1 every year. New Zealand started the celebration in 2004. In Australia, the Random Acts of Kindness Day is observed on November 4.
